The main track (research) program will consist of 32 papers. The papers will be
presented in 10 sessions covering important and timely topics such as OSS
quality and reliability, OSS Products, Review of technologies of and for OSS,
Knowledge and research building in OSS, Industrial cases of studies on modelling
and health, OSS reuse, integration and compliance, Industrial perspectives on
OSS policy, OSS value and economics, OSS adoption in industry, and Mining OSS
repositories.
Doctoral Consortium
-----------------------------
The OSS doctoral consortium provides an environment in which PhD Students can
share and discuss their goals, methods and results of their research. During
the doctoral consortium students will give a presentation of their current
progress. The doctoral consortium provides students with feedback on their work
from other students and faculty members, allowing them to enhance their own
research proposal. OSS'2011 doctoral consortium will have 7 presentations of
PhD Students from Brazil, USA, and Finland.

Conference Registration

Registration fees include all technical sessions, conference materials,
refreshments, meals and receptions, doctoral consortium (October 5th), and
workshops (October 8th). The early registration deadline for discounted
